The hubby has been out of town for most of this week, and I think three days of solo parenting calls for a drink, don’t you?


I love blood orange season, and I love blood orange most of all in cocktails, so — with my newfound love of gin, too — this was a perfect fit. Thanks again to Putney Farm for the delicious inspiration. Cheers!

Recipe type: Cocktail
Serves: 1
  • 2 oz gin*
  • ½ oz Grand Marnier (or Cointreau)
  • ½ oz fresh blood orange juice
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  1. Combine ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Enjoy!
* Once again, I absolutely love how Tanqueray No. 10 combines with any kind of citrus.
