Will Write for Food

… if by “food” you mean “money.” Unless your name is Thomas Keller, in which case, your money is no good here, sir.

I’m a freelance writer and editor, and I’d love to work for you. My focus, of course, is writing about food, sustainable agriculture, community farms and the like, but, let’s face it, a girl’s gotta eat. So I do a lot of copyediting, proofreading and copywriting, too. I’ve worked for publications including Edible Austin, LiveMom and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and I’d love to write for you, too, or help you polish your writing. In addition to traditional and online publications, I am open to corporate, non-profit and individual clients as well.

If you are interested, please contact me at gourmetvegmama@gmail.com for more information. I look forward to doing business with you!

  1. Hi Lauren,

I have a question for you. I work for Today’s Mama….http://todaysmama.com/, and also do some blogging for them. Part of my job is recruiting bloggers in different categories in the various markets across the country. We do have an Austin market, and I think your blog is great! Would you have any interest in doing some blogging for us? I think that you would be a good fit for our “Food” category…we ask that you write in your category 2/3 of the time, and the other 1/3 you can write a blog about whatever you would like. The goal is to post once a week.

Let me know if you have any interest…we would like to see original material, but you can certainly link back to your blog and add a link about your blog in your bio. We would love to have you join us!

    Thank you!
